Hello, My name is Yoga, usually people call me YogaBear. Catching up with age on every 12th April. I usually write about random stuff here, just about life and well things that I feel about certain issues, or just simply a topic on which I think everyone has different views on.
If you don't like what you read, then hey, just don't bother about it, because I don't really care about what you think because people are different, but if you're here just to read about my life and to know me, by all means continue❤!
Visit my other friends who had been on the TARDIS, will you?

"Spiritual Growth"

2013 - The Year I Want To Dedicate To Relationships With People & Spiritual Growth.

Well, this year wasn't really a good start I would say, or should I say it started well, but didn't last long in the relationship I had with someone. That aside, all other areas of my life was growing better ~

Firstly, it's only been almost 3 weeks of the new year, and it felt so long already. Maybe I've lost track of time. I'm not rushing anything this year, slowly accepting what is or what is to come as it comes. Getting past each hurdles one at a time. Growth can't be done with a big leap over many hurdles, you'll either crash or you'll just get stunned after which. This year 2013, I feel much closer to God, and I've changed so much. I've started reading books, after 19 years of my life. I finally read finish a book. In the past month leading to 2013 and as of January I've finished 2 books, "Faith that overcomes the world" , "Winning Faith" and I am currently reading my 3rd book titled "Bondage Breaker". It's such a great book! It talks about how you overcome negative thinking, irrational feelings and habitual sins. I would recommend you guys to read it! :P Or ask me if you guys want to read it. It's a very old book though.... :P

Well this year, I've got more commitments to grow myself and I'm doing this with 2 of my leaders and another cell group member.
1. Attend Every Prayer Meeting On Friday
2. Come for PRE - "Pre-Service Prayer Meeting"
3. To the person that we individually chose to help grow stronger in the Lord.
4. Committed to fast once each week.

I just hope I can keep to them as much as I can! During our previous cell group, there was only the 4 of us. The parent's of my cell group said that they felt as if we had a cell group with alot of people and when they came out they saw only 4 of us. Which really encouraged us, because we ourselves could sense the spiritual atmosphere during our cell group meeting. It was very good. Words can't really explain, it's felt. Talked about how we must start the year wearing the armor of God. Which is very important.

As I was praying, I had a picture in my head, of a warrior of Christ, fighting the battle against the devil in the world. But, there also was another picture in my head, where I was in this big field of grass and a big tree with wind blowing across the place. And there I was, holding God's hand and walking to the field, and there was a swing. I ran to the swing and sat on it, first using my legs to push myself back to start swinging, and there after which was God who was pushing me. I had no worries, I just enjoyed the peace and joy. What I got from those 2 pictures as I was praying was that, as Christians we all are warriors for Christ, being the salt and the light for the world, but we ourselves must have time for God, do not be so concentrated on the war that you forget about God. Each warrior needs that motivation, that memory of joy and happiness that gives them something worth fighting for. We will lose the moment we don't see hope, and we lose that reason worth fighting for. We should always come back to God, even in the midst of battle, so that he can restore to you your strength and your motivation to continue fighting on. We need to always go back to our source of hope and that is God. So we always need to keep praying!

After Cell group, it was drizzling on my way home and it was quite heavy. As i was walking to my lift lobby, I saw a cat sitting there alone in the rain, getting drenched. And I thought to myself, if only this cat could understand me. And I walked by it and went to the lift, but I was promt to see the cat again. So i did and I wished it could come to shelter rather than just getting wet there, and it was just looking around at me and other stuff, and I said, turn right, which is towards me & it did at that very moment, then again I said walk to me and guess what, it did! Then, I pat it and said stay here ~ and it did, and then I went back to take the lift. The revelation I had then was, that with a willing heart to do good, command it and believe in it, and it shall be. You will be rewarded according to your faith.

From the book I read, the author explained, that your walk with God is a one way road. And the devil and his demons are like residing in the houses on the sidewalk. All they can do, is to attract you with things that the flesh would desire for, but they can never directly make you stop your walk with God, they only can make you into thinking that something is better than our walk on that road. They can only shout out from those windows but it's up to you, if you give in they can consume you. It's up to you to make the decision to ignore them and continue walking. Never allow yourself to give the devil a foothold in your life. Even if you do, confess it before God that you may be free and cleansed. Confessing isn't just plainly saying sorry, or saying I won't do it again. Confessing is admitting to your wrongdoing, and bringing to light your sin, as such " Dear God, I have given into ______ , and I am wrong, please forgive me". The more you force yourself to stop something by your own will, the more you are vulnerable to start it again. Bring it to God, and let it go. Don't condemn yourself for doing it. We're not perfect.

Well, I do hope to those who have read this it would have helped you and motivated you in some ways! :D Do continue to keep praying and keep having faith! :D You'll get through anything as long as you believe that you will! :D
